I have wagered on millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
