I have played countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
