I have bet on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
